What skills can my child acquire through art making that will help ensure greater success in their future?

The benefits of art making are vast. I believe doing art regularly, develops a lot of attributes including positive self- esteem, builds confidence, enables self-expression, lets them take more risks as they experiment, improve fine-motor skills including hand-eye coordination, increase concentration and many, many, more.

How long does it take to learn art?

A lifetime – that’s the real answer. Practicing regularly, exploring different medium, learning through observation, experimenting different styles, learning from different teachers – all these contribute to the process of learning art.
