FAQ

Does my child need to have any prior knowledge or experience in art or drawing?

No. This is a beginner class. Each lesson builds upon knowledge from previous sessions to create their drawing.

What are the materials required?

    • Any black marker
    • Paper

What can my child do with a black marker and a paper?

    • Engage in a 30 minute art activity.
    • Express confidently and courageously through drawing.
    • Develop hand-eye coordination and explore their imagination.
    • Improve self-confidence and boost self-esteem.

How long are these classes?

These classes are 30 minutes long. There are 26 sessions. Hence it is 13 weeks .

What happens if my child misses a class?

Recording of the class will be provided. The child can access the recording.

Can I cancel my classes? Are there refunds?

Yes. You can. During the first two classes you may decide to cancel classes for whatever reason. We will refund your payment sans the cost of your used classes. After the first two classes have passed, no refund will be redeemable.

What skills can my child acquire through art making that will help ensure greater success in their future?

The benefits of art making are vast. I believe doing art regularly, develops a lot of attributes including positive self- esteem, builds confidence, enables self-expression, lets them take more risks as they experiment, improve fine-motor skills including hand-eye coordination, increase concentration and many, many, more.

How long does it take to learn art?

A lifetime – that’s the real answer. Practicing regularly, exploring different medium, learning through observation, experimenting different styles, learning from different teachers – all these contribute to the process of learning art.
